Why do men lie?


I have met a wonderful guy who is treating me really well, but I know he is lying to me about his surname and where he works. I understand why he first told the lies as we met online, but now that we have been dating for a month, why hasn't he come clean?

I'd be wary of someone who is lying to you at this early stage - have you confronted him about what you know?

An interesting question..but before I give my opinion I would be interested to know how you know he has given you false details about his surname and his job? How did you find out your date was lying?
