Do I like her?


I used to go to school with this girl, and we text from time to time. We're great friends, however. Anyway, I've known I've had some sort of feelings for her since I've met her. Anyway, for about a week now I've not been able to stop thinking about her. I don't know if I like her, or if I just miss her. Any help with that?
Also, another question (sorry!):
Once we were talking once and I asked her if she wanted to hang out. She never replied.
A few days later after a brief conversation I asked her the same thing. After about 8 minutes without a reply she said, "Ya but I have to go."
What's up with that? Is it a coincidence or what? o_O
