what does she want? should i meet her? please help!?


ok bit of background first: my ex broke up with me about 3 months ago and we have had no contact at all until last week when she re-added me on FB and asked how i was.
we've been chatting on and off since then and the other she phoned me just for a chat. while talking i stupidly suggested we meet up for a proper catch up. she went " ahh yeah that would be great, when you free" so we arranged to meet up tonight.

now i'm not sure if i should meet her as i dont really know what she wants. i was really surprised she got in touch as she has always said she doesn't speak to exes and doesnt ever want to be friends with them. she made a point of telling me she's away to the beach with a bunch of guys but wants to see me after that tonight, which i said was fine. she also said she's not had any kinda social life recently as she just moved to her own place. after the call (and her moaning about having to drive everyone TO the beach) she text me saying "i like us talking :) i'd like us to be mates :D"

now am confused what is it she's actually looking for? does she want to get back together or just be friends?
i really want her back but dont think i could take the friends thing if thats all it could be. now im having second thoughts about cancelling tonight as i just dont know what it is she wants from me.
its been really good talking and laughing again with her but as i say i cant do the casual friends thing.
what do you girls think she wants? should i go? pleease help!

Anonymous 		Hey mate, it sounds like she does not know what she wants. She dumps you and then tells you that she is never friends with ex's and then wants to be your friend. She makes a point of telling you shes gonna be with a bunch of guys (why?) Is she trying to make you jealous? Do you really want to play this game?

If you still want to be with her then I would say go on a meeting but keep away from alcohol as that will cloud you judgement. Keep any meeting as if you were meeting a friend and maintain a distance so your head is clear. If you have any doubts whatsoever, tell her what you think. She dumped you for a reason remember - if you really didn't agree with that reason ask yourself why you are entertaining her now. Good luck mate! CB
