When Should I Ask Out My Ex's Friend?


I broke up with my girlfriend a few days ago. (3 if you want me to be exact) The break up was mutual. We both knew it wasn't working out, and so we broke up. Really simple.

That being said, I've 'bounced back' easily. Unfortunately, my newest crush, and the one girl I have a chance of taking to the school dance in 8 days, is my ex's best friend.

So.....is there an exact amount of time I should wait before I ask her out? Will I just have to feel it or figure it out? Should I see if there's a chance she'll ask me out? What do i do?

Anonymous 		Why don't you approach your ex girlfriend and ask her how she feels if you dated one of her friends? You broke up 'mutually' so you could be upfront about it -probably better to be honest rather than her find out once you are dating (maybe) her mate!
