Is my man gay?

I know this probably sounds ridiculous to most people but I actually think my husband might be bisexual as he's started to comment on other guys recently. At first I considered that he might be getting bored of me and wanted to introduce someone else into our relationship (i think they call it swinging?) But he spends less of his attention on other women and more on men. I've not dared ask him as I could be wrong but I am concerned that he's hiding something and I really want to understand why he behaves like this in front of me. A recent example was when we were out at a bar in the city and soon after we had sat down with our drinks, he commented on this guy stood nearby and how well dressed he was, how he looked like he might be a model and so on. I know it's not enough to prove someone is gay or bisexual but he was constantly staring and enough for me to suggest going to another bar because i felt threatened by his admiration for a guy! I don't know, perhaps I am being paranoid but I just feel there is something there and the thought won't go away so if anybody has experienced this I'd be interested to hear your comments? Thankyou. Hi PJ,

It doesn't sound like he's gay to me, may bi? Assuming there are no problems between you then it might be that? I suppose the bigger question is why he is actually looking to include other people in your relationship (if that's as far as he's gone?) I think maybe some directness might be called for - if his actions towards other people, men in particular, are causing you distress I think it's only fair to let him know this as he may not even realise what distress his actions are causing you - I'm sure in either situation he would not want to do this.

Hope I'm not too late with my comments..I agree with Freeda in that you should confront him if the situation is making you so unhappy but I also agree with steve and that you shouldn't just charge on in there!!!! You might be well off the mark and could spoil things in your relationship. I'm no expert in this area but perhaps he's trying to make friends? Maybe, this is his way of doing it? Or what about (sticking my neck out here!) you might be a little over jealus of his attention for other people? might be wrong I know but its something to consider?

steviex 		Sounds to me like he could bat for both sides :-) mind you, I would be careful about asking him direct as blokes have a bit of an ego when it comes things like appearing macho and all that and he may just be taking an interest in how other fellas look? Just looking and talking to another man does not make someone gay. good luck, Stevie
