Is this normal?
Ok, so I have been dating this guy for the past year on/off - we met online and hit it off. We were having fun for a few weeks, and slept together. I asked him if he was sleeping with anyone else, to which he answered no, but that he didn't want to be exclusive so early. After about five months I ended things - I got the impression that things were going on behind my back (missing condoms) and because it seemed like things weren't progressing. We didn't speak for a few months, and I couldn't stop thinking about him. We had had a great time together. I dated someone else for a bit, but I still missed him. He contacted me about three months ago and we started dating again, only this time "exclusivly". We moved in together last week, and things had been great.
Yesterday I was unpacking while he was at work and I did something I'm not proud of; I snooped. I looked on his computer at his browser history. It turns out that he had been online chatting with other girls on the days that I was working and he was off. I also found videos of him having sex with multiple girls during the period that I met him initially. I didn't know what to do, so I confessed that I had looked on his computer and knew it was wrong, but was upset about what I found. He claims that chatting with other girls is like porn, and that more guys do it than I could imagine. He also told me that it meant nothing and that he has never met any of them. As far as the videos - I said that I knew were weren't exclusive at the time, but that it's disturbing to think that he lied repeatedly about not sleeping with anyone else. Some of them were filmed the day before of after we had gone on dates.
I know that what I did was wrong, but I'm really not sure how to handle this. We have been having such a great time, and I would still be if I hadn't discovered all of this. He told me things are different now, and that I'm being insecure. I feel so confused
